Operation Porpoise successful Flipper was smiling on the outside but crying on the inside. This is what Richard O'Barry thinks; a man who trained dolphins for the 'Flipper' T.V show. In present years he has become an activist in that he wants dolphins to be free. This then leads him into discovering the mystery of the capturing, killing of the dolphins in Taiji, Japan. O'Barry's main discussion is that he talks about his experience working on the 'Flipper' T.V show and how that when training the dolphins, physically one of the dolphins committed suicide in his arms which then leads him to the freeing of the other dolphins later in his life. Man Utd 2014/15 Hey Guys, since the new Premier league season is fast approaching to all us football fans, I thought I'd start a series called 'a look ahead' where I take a look and share with you my thoughts and opinions on some of teams that are playing in the Premier League this season. A solid Monster-Mash!!! Going into watching Godzilla not at all watching any of the trailers and not anticipating it to live up to the expectation,Godzilla does a lot to address the faults within this genre type such as elongated scenes and insignificant scenes. Godzilla manages to balance a lot of the key factors such as the many minutes we see both the monsters and people and not stray off on a tangent but there are some subtle faults that maybe could of been addressed. The narrative and this whole idea of Nuclear anxiety(relating back to the original film in 1954)which is an occurring theme that drives the majority of the film is built up at the very start of the film rather well as it does create this great expectation that we do get. What Japanese animation can do... When taking a look at the history of Japanese animation, it's fair to say that for the western audience at least, Japanese animation films can be severely butchered and be heavily criticised. However, I think films such Summer Wars are exceptions due to the fact that they offer up something different to all audiences and deliver on the entertainment value. 'Summer Wars' directed by Mamoru Hosoda (who also directed 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time') is a film that explores the endless possibilities when it comes to our use of technology and blends that with the theme of family/romance. the story which takes place in a near- Utopian future where everyone integrates themselves with the world of OZ (an online platform that is used by everyone)is focused around the 17 year-old high schooler Kenji Koiso, a mathematical genius who like most geniuses is shy, uncoordinated and inarticulate.    Beautiful film, unexpected emotions... The Film is named '5 Centimetres per Second' for the speed at which the cherry blossoms fall. The actual petals are used as a metaphorical for the representation of people, emphasising the slowness of life and how everyone eventually foes off on their own way. This has simply got to be one of the most beautiful films that has ever been made not just because of the surreal environments which take your breath away, but the way they tell the story of the young boy and how his life progresses is an experience in it self. Makoto Shinkai has done a brilliant job in creating one of the most perfected animated films in film history, this with out a shadow of a doubt is on par or maybe even surpasses some of the Studio Ghibli films when it comes to amazing landscapes which you can enjoy.
